Modern American Royalty Series 1.0 and 2.0
This series takes the grand visual language of European and American portraiture - gilded frames, poised gazes, regal bearing - and places it onto Communities historically excluded from it. Majesty was never about bloodlines, only about who gets to be seen that way. Here, choice is reclaimed.

Paparazzi Series
intitially, visualized as a critique of our current 15-seconds-of-fame "media culture", this series has expanded to be a statement about the extent to which marginalized groups are purposely left unrepresented within our society.
Our experience with this series is that viewers express feeling joy, inclusion and the imagery is engaging and fun. This defines success for us.

Wedding Series
This very personal series represents the myriad of emotions and behaviours experienced by our wedding party and community in San Francisco City Hall. We wanted to show the combination of ritual spiritual/ legal theater as it co-exists with daily mundane civic activity. Our perceptions of events define the memory and importance of the space.
